I work predominantly with children and adolescents experiencing complex health and developmental presentations, including ADHD, autism, PANS/PANDAS, global developmental delay and learning difficulties.
My clinical interests include the relationships between the gut, brain and immune system, as well as nutrition, digestive health, genetics, metabolic function and environmental factors where relevant.
Alongside my naturopathic degree, I've undertaken further professional education, including:
Jason Hawrelak's gut health course
Moore Method training
EFT practitioner training
Education through the Institution of Integrative Health.
I continue to develop my knowledge in paediatric and integrative health because research is always evolving, and I believe good clinical care requires ongoing learning.
My approach combines a thorough health assessment with evidence-informed recommendations, practical strategies and an understanding of the challenges families face.
I don't believe in applying the same protocol to every child or recommending extensive testing simply because it's available.
Instead, I take the time to understand your child's history, review relevant investigations and identify which areas may benefit from further attention.
Most importantly, I want you to understand the reasoning behind your child's care.
If you've been looking for someone who will take your concerns seriously and help you make sense of the bigger picture, I'd love to hear from you.
As a mother, I understand how much parents juggle, especially when navigating their child's health and wellbeing. My interest in the connections between nutrition, gut health, immune function and the nervous system led me to study naturopathy, where I developed a particular passion for supporting children with complex health and developmental needs.
I believe families deserve the time and space to share their concerns, ask questions and understand the bigger picture.
That's why I take a thorough, individualised approach to care. I look beyond the presenting symptoms, consider relevant contributing factors and focus on practical recommendations that make sense for each child and family.
My goal is simple: to help parents feel heard, informed and more confident about their next steps.
I look at the whole picture, not just the presenting symptom.
An explanation of why a particular issue deserves attention.
Recommendations introduced at a pace your child and household can manage.
Honesty about uncertainty, the limits of my scope and when another practitioner should be involved.
My formal clinical foundation is a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy).
I have also completed Moore Method training and am an EFT practitioner, alongside further education in gut health and integrative health.
Continuing education is an important part of how I practise.
Health research changes. Our understanding develops. Sometimes new evidence supports what we have been doing; sometimes it gives us a good reason to change direction.
I believe practitioners should be willing to do that.
