Online women’s health naturopathic care, with clear priorities

When your energy, sleep, weight or stress levels have changed, it is easy to collect advice without knowing what deserves attention first. Mia offers individualised online naturopathic care for women who want their concerns considered together and a plan that fits their actual lives.

— Considered together, not in isolation.

You may be managing work, parenting or caring for others while your own concerns become harder to ignore.

Perhaps fatigue is affecting your day, sleep no longer feels restorative, your weight has changed, or stress is taking more out of you than it used to.

You do not need to arrive with an explanation for why this is happening.

“Mia takes time to understand the pattern, what has already been investigated and what support you currently receive. The aim is to make sense of the information you have and decide what is useful to address next, without handing you a generic plan or a long list of changes.”

- INDIVIDUALISED, REALISTIC CARE

personalised approach to care

Individualised naturopathic support for women

Women seek Mia’s support for concerns involving energy, sleep, stress, metabolic health, weight and mental wellbeing. These concerns can overlap, and the same symptom can have different contributing factors for different people. Mia considers nutrition, digestion, daily routines and other relevant aspects of your history alongside any medical findings, rather than assuming one cause or one standard solution.

Care is tailored to your goals and capacity. That may mean starting with a small number of practical changes, seeking further medical input, or reviewing existing results before deciding whether another investigation would add value.

THE CONSULTATION

What happens in an online women's
health consultation?

I

First, we understand the full picture

The initial consultation gives you time to describe your concerns in your own words. Mia asks about your health history, current symptoms, sleep, eating patterns, stress, medicines and supplements, relevant test results and what daily life asks of you. She also asks what you most want to understand or change.

II

Then, we choose what deserves attention first

Mia explains the priorities she sees and why they matter. You can discuss which recommendations feel realistic, what needs monitoring and whether a question is better addressed with your GP or another practitioner. Functional testing is considered selectively, not as an automatic next step.

III

Finally, we review and adjust

Follow-up appointments are a chance to discuss what you have been able to put into practice and what you have noticed. Mia can refine the plan as your circumstances change. Progress does not depend on doing everything at once.

Thoughtful care alongside your existing healthcare

Naturopathic care complements medical assessment and treatment. Mia will consider relevant diagnoses, investigations and prescribed medicines when discussing a plan.

If symptoms call for medical review, she will encourage you to contact the appropriate practitioner.

You remain an active partner in deciding what happens next.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions about women's health care

Do I need to know what is causing my symptoms before I book?

No. The consultation is a place to discuss the pattern you have noticed and what has already been explored. Mia will not assume a cause from a symptom alone.

Will I need functional testing?

Not necessarily. Mia reviews the information already available and considers testing only when it is appropriate and likely to help guide a decision. Any additional test is discussed with you before you proceed.

Can I continue seeing my GP or other practitioners?

Yes. Mia’s care is designed to sit alongside your existing healthcare. She does not ask you to stop prescribed treatment.

Are appointments online?

Yes. Mia is based in Sydney and all appointments take place online. There is no clinic visit to arrange.
